Camden 'fuel to food' Petty island - Site

This site is an island that is a part of Pennsauken, NJ in Camden County on the Delaware River.  Its future has been debated and contentious. With the assumption that the 540 Acre Conservation Easement will transfer the island to the NJ Land Trust, our program includes a "Cultural & Education Center". This project fulfills that mission with the addition of a Food Innovation Facility and Agricultural Education, compatible with its history and making this knowledge accessible to the local urban population. Students accessed our site by boarding a boat and studying it from navigable waters.
